As we move from summer to fall, thoughts turn to back to school, temperatures cooling down, and fall traditions like Pumpkins, Halloween, and yes, Thanksgiving. While we may not want to think that far ahead, there’s plenty to do in the garden to prepare for fall.

Squash. Fall colorsshades of brown and green with orange and yellow. But before fall officially arrives, hints of summer remain with plenty of time for planting and sprucing up existing areas for your own pleasure and entertaining.

Indeed, wandering in to stroll our 2+ acres is a pleasure. You never know what you’ll find in the garden center but more often than not you’ll see and hear hummingbirds and butterflies. (Below) A Monarch butterfly takes some nourishment from Milkweed, which we have in stock now.
