Customer Appreciation Day is Labor Day, Monday, September 1. We’ll have free hot dogs and beverages from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and will be open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
As we move from summer to fall, thoughts turn to back to school, temperatures cooling down, and fall traditions like Pumpkins, Halloween, and yes, Thanksgiving. While we may not want to think that far ahead, there’s plenty to do in the garden to prepare for fall.
Squash. Fall colors—shades of brown and green with orange and yellow. But before fall officially arrives, hints of summer remain with plenty of time for planting and sprucing up existing areas for your own pleasure and entertaining.
Indeed, wandering in to stroll our 2+ acres is a pleasure. You never know what you’ll find in the garden center but more often than not you’ll see and hear hummingbirds and butterflies. (Below) A Monarch butterfly takes some nourishment from Milkweed, which we have in stock now.
Other critters and creatures you might find include frogs, bunnies and lizards. (Below) Our Zen Frog gives the atmosphere a sense of calm.

Privacy Hedge Material, Boxwoods
Ask us for help and guidance for creating a privacy hedge. There are lots of trees and shrubs that make great hedges, large and small, and we have an amazing selection.
(Below) Indoor and outdoor plants can do well in containers. You’ll find measuring sticks throughout the garden center, and do ask us for assistance. Steve and CJ are happy to provide guidance and can help you purchase the right soils.
