Summer in Southern California means lots of time spent outdoors in the sunshine, watching sunsets and enjoying nighttime under the moon and stars. The Garden Center is the place to find lots of ways to spruce up your home and garden for you, your family, your friends and neighbors.
Scroll down the page to see stunning summer plants, indoor and outdoor fountains, bird baths, statuary, and vegetables and fruit.
(Above) The Fortnight Lily, so named because its flower lasts for one day, blooms from spring through fall and while it can handle partial shade, it will bloom more profusely in full sun. It is a drought-tolerant, low-maintenance perennial that grows well outdoors in large patio planters and containers. The plant is also called African Iris.
(Above) Monarch butterflies are hatching out all over the Garden Center thanks to our stable of in-stock Milkweed. It really is amazing to watch butterflies and to see them up close. Ask one of our Garden Design Experts Miguel or Steve for help selecting butterfly-friendly plants so you can bring these precious creatures to your home and garden.
(Below) Summer brings out so many wonderful blooming plants. Clematis, a showy vine beloved on the back East and in the British Isles, grows to six feet high, in most instances, and is a well-mannered vine that grows particularly well with roses.
(Below) Our 2+ acres offers a slice of heaven.
(Below) A summer stunner is the Rose of Sharon. This plant, a member of the Mallow family, can grow 4-6 feet wide and about 8-10 feet tall. They need full sun. It’s botanical name is Hibiscus syriacus and as with other Hibiscus, its flowers bear a striking stamen.

(Below) Asian ceramic fountains are lively, vibrant pieces of art in the garden.
(Below) How about the sound of cascading water through these small boulders? The succulent container next to it is just one of the many preplanted succulent containers we are constantly producing so our clients can select what they like and take it home or have us deliver.
(Below) We also offer a nice selection of statuary, from small animals like turtles, cats, dogs, bunnies and elephants to larger items like buddhas, herons and more. This Pagoda is a new arrival.

(Below) Gardeners have been loving our solid, well-constructed redwood raised planting beds for several years now. These beds look attractive and help define an area and keep your plants in it and unwelcome feet out. Different sizes are available.
(Below) We recently discovered an incredibly easy way to have a vegetable garden that will thrive. Available in three sizes, these containers are self-watering and come with protective covers.
(Below) These containers have a unique self-wicking system that reduces watering by up to 80%. And they are so easy to set up, even kids can do it. They clip together in minutes and are made from a food-grade plastic that is durable and safe.
Stands and trolleys are available for them, too, so you can elevate gardening to a good height for you.
See you at the Garden Center!
